What must I do to be saved?

The problem: sin

"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23)

"For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

God's answer: Jesus

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." (John 3:16)

What God asks of you

1. Hear the word of God (Romans 10:17)
2. Believe that Jesus is the Son of God (John 8:24)
3. Repent of your sins (Acts 17:30)
4. Confess Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:10)
5. Be baptized for the forgiveness of sins (Acts 2:38; Mark 16:16)
6. Be faithful until death (Revelation 2:10)

The Lord adds you to His church

"And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved." (Acts 2:47)
